Seminary studies are designed for women and men who are called to ministry and who are dedicated to demands of study, personal evangelism, teaching, church planting and missions. The Seminary exists solely for Christian ministry, is not accredited, nor is it pursuing accreditation as part of it's agendal. The desire of the Seminary is to produce credible and well trained Christian ministers, preachers, deacons, deaconesses, youth ministers, Christian musicians, chaplains, teachers, missionaires and servants of Jesus Christ.
The Seminary is based in local church ministry and education, and stresses the ideology of serving as "Ambassadors for Christ" ...which denotes sincere humility, and great commitment to our Lord.
Seminary acceptance occurs only after a complete packet submission, and after faculty approval.
Bachelor of Arts in Religion (BAR) 120-credit hours
Master of Divinity (MDiv) 75-credit hours
Doctor of Ministry (DMin) 60-credit hours
Coral Ridge Seminary is a guided mentorship and in-residence program, and is a direct ministry of Coral Ridge Baptist Church. All prospective students are strongly encouraged to be involved in church services, and to experience "ministry in action." The church becomes then, a "living laboratory for students." In that context, students are able able to be involved in education, teaching, preaching, music, church planting, evangelism, discipleship, media, missions and outreach ministries. CRS is very integrated into home and foreign missions, ministry outreach, personal care, integirty and church growth and development. The Semianry does not allow or condone racism, discrimmination, or gossip. "Edify one another" is a direct command to all Christians, consequently all students and faculty, are expected to "love one another" as Christ commanded. (I Thess. 5:11). All Seminary students are expected to be involved in evangelism, following the mandate given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20. Seminary philosophies are also based upon Jeremiah 33:3 and Philippians 4. It is to be noted that Seminary applicants are selected, based upon proven spiritual and academic performance, attitude, appitude for ministry, writing skills, references, and selection is based opon personal interview. Classes are purposefully kept small, and those chosen for student status, embark on a stringent discipleship journey, designed to prepare the learner for successful multi-faceted Christian ministry. Applying students must include the following with their application:
Three letters of recommendation (one pastoral)
Transcripts from previously attended colleges, seminaries and schools
Paper on "Calling, Intent and Interest for ministry training" (2-3 pages)
*(this will be utilized to evaluate writing skills ministry
skills, compassion for people, apptitude and calling)
Personal Bio and statement of faith (include any ministry experience)
DD-214 (if prior military service)
Law enforcement background check and documentation

*CRS supports qualifed women and men in key areas of ministry leadership. It is an honor to be accepted into the CRS student/learner program, and for those accepted, there is NO monetary charge for classroom studies. The seminary is a missionary outreach of the church, (based on Matthew 28:19-20) and in the Spirit of Christ, provides financial scholarships for those accepted. Continuation of student status then, is based on academic performance, attitude, character, and on spirtual and personal excellence.
